Olmec by Foundation Cigars
Nick Melillo of Foundation Cigar Company has been creating boxy, bodacious blends since he entered the industry over 20 years ago. After many years prior gaining vast insight from his work at Drew Estate and traveling worldwide to understand tobacco better, he set up his own business in 2015 to make top-of-the-line cigars with exceptional flavor and equilibrium. Boutique cigar aficionados can attest: Nick's creations are second to none!
OLMEC CIGARS for Sale at Cuenca Cigars
Olmec Cigaris, an original cigar smokers favorite, named for the ancient civilization Foundation Olmec that preceded both Mayans and Aztecs, is a full-bodied blend crafted to honor San Andres leaf tobacco--the original crop of the ancient Olmec tribes in Southern Mexico. To make this flavorful spice mixture of Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, Nick cleverly chose Nicaraguan fillers from Esteli and Jalapa, which were matured over 3 years before use.
OLMEC MADURO VS OLMEC CLARO - SMOKE CIGARS
These filters are delicately enveloped in a Nicaraguan spice binder and secured with either Mexican San Andres wrapper Negro for Olmec Maduro or Claro leaf wrappers for Olmec Claro. The former has bold flavor notes than the latter, yet both offer a harmonious blend of flavors like espresso, cacao, and spice that linger on your palate. Hurry now while supplies last - don't miss out on this highly anticipated release!
WHO ARE FOUNDATION CIGARS MADE BY?
In 2015, the Foundation Cigar Company was founded by Nicholas Melillo and set a high bar with their first cigar, El Güegüense (The Wise Man Corona). This recognition as one of Cigar Aficionado's 'Top 25' further motivated them to launch three more lines - The Tabernacle, Charter Oak, and an infused line - The Upsetters- all in that same year. Their cigars are crafted at Nicaragua's esteemed Tabacos Valle de Jalapa TABSA factory.
