Located near the town of Mao, these fields have yielded some of the most interesting and complex tobaccos in the world. From these fields was born the illustrious Criollo de Oro, a tobacco rich in history and brimming with flavor and complexity. The tobacco’s distinct lineage hails from the crossing of the robust Criollo ’98 and the famed Pelo de Oro – both tobaccos known for delivering impeccable smoking experiences in cigars. Using this unique tobacco, the artisans of the El Credito Factory are proud to introduce La Gloria Cubana Criollo de Oro. This limited edition blend uses a Criollo de Oro wrapper to surround a Connecticut Broadleaf binder as well as fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua. The blend is a medium-bodied, elegant smoke that is strikingly balanced, delivering hints of tobacco sweetness, earth, cedar, and light citrus notes.
