Art & Cigars to open fifht exhibit at Montecristo Lounge of Hollywood, Florida on Friday August 26th, 2011. "An Impression II", Polaroid SX-70 Manipulations by John Gillan. Exhibit will be on display between August 26 - September 26, 2011
Join us on Friday August 26th and meet south Florida photographer John Gillan at the Montecristo Lounge from 8:00pm - 10:30pm. John will talk about his collection "An Impression II". John Gillan created this body of work as a means of capturing South Florida with a vibrant, colorful and artful technique using instant Polaroid film. Each photograph was manipulated on the surface after being exposed. The exhibit will be on display until September 26, 2011 and can be viewed by appointment after the August 26th opening. You can usually catch John at the Montecristo Lounge on Friday evenings, let us know if you will be stopping by. Prints will be available for purchase at the event.
