The blend's flavor profile transitions as the smoke progresses. The flavors are bold and smooth, containing notes of coffee and chocolate with a hint of black pepper spice.

In a press release, Booth said that this cigar would capture the attention of traditional and discerning cigar collectors. In a press release for the Serie S, La Gloria Cubana's marketing director Steve Abbott explained that the cigar would combine large gauges with expert blending and craftsmanship to create a premium medium to full-bodied smoke. The blend flavor is a mixture of leathery and spicy, and it is blended to give off a pleasant aroma as it burns.

The La Gloria Cubana Serie S is set to be offered at the following sizes and prices:
