The New Release From Espinosa Cigars
There's a new release of Espinosa Premium Cigars coming out. Specifically, this is the 601 La Bomba Warhead series, which will be, at the Las Vegas Trade Show, the PCA 2022, making its debut. The official name of this trade show is the 2022 PCA Convention & Trade Show and it is a Yearly event where Cigar Retailers meet Cigar Manufactures and get information about new cigar releases and Cigar Accessories. This trade show will be occurring between the dates of July 8 and 12.
The 601 La Bomba Warhead VIII cigar is a "Gordo" that's box-pressed and 6 x 60. Elements of this cigar include a Nicaraguan filler, a Nicaraguan binder, and a Nicaraguan wrapper of the broadleaf type which made this cigar a Nicaraguan Puro.
If you plan on buying a 601 La Bomba Cigar individually, the price of one is approximately $11. If you buy a box (these are 10-count boxes), you'll get a $110 MSRP.
The new cigar release that Espinosa Cigars has every year, according to Erik Espinosa in a press release, is something people ask him about every year. There is a whole line of cigar fans lining up to get their hands on these cigars. Once the cigars are sold, they must wait a whole year to try a new one. Keep that in mind when you heard they coming and make sure to reserve a box or a single cigar.
He said that they're looking for a new cigar they can add to their cigar collection. He also said that every year, he's always amazed by how successful the new cigars releases are.
The release for this year is limited. There are 2,500 10-cigar boxes. As a result, the total amount of 601 La Bomba Warhead in this release is 25,000.
The factory that's producing these cigars is the Ocotal, Nicaragua-based San Lotano factory. This is AJ Fernandez's factory. They are handmade under strict supervision and quality control.
The History of the 601 La Bomba Warhead Cigar Line
Back in 2013, this line debuted. It was a newer version of 601 La Bomba. The original 601 La Bomba was an incredibly strong cigar, and the new 601 La Bomba Warhead version was created to be an even stronger one. The name La Bomba is a Spanish version of The Bomb and refers to the strength of the cigars.
The design of this cigar is inspired by World War II imagery. The band of the cigar has a bomb shape. These are collectible cigars.
Additionally, the cigar band includes WWII-era aircraft graffiti and art. In particular, it includes a shark face.
This shark face is a reference to the 1st American Volunteer Group, the Flying Tigers. This military group painted the face of a shark on their aircraft.
When at the IPCPR Convention & Trade Show that took place in 2013, Espinosa Premium Cigars did the unveiling of the line, they continued with this WWII theme. They brought in a bomb that had been decommissioned and exhibit it during the 4 days event.
Then, they invited attendees to sign the bomb. Specifically, they asked veterans and active duty military to do this.
This was with the plan of then displaying the signed bomb at Espinosa Premium Cigars' offices in Hialeah, Florida.
