This month we are proud to showcase, Rafael Nodal owner of Aging Room Cigars added a pair of new varieties to the boutique brand, which was named one of Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 cigars of 2011. Early 2013, a new size and blend of the Aging Room Small Batch hit the shelves last summer.
The release was called “Aging Room Small Batch M21”. The smoke is named for the date (Monday, January 21) which it was the day of the week, and the 21 day of the month when the cigar was finalized.
The cigar is a Dominican puro, made from Habano-seed tobaccos grown in La Canella, Dominican Republic. The cigars are made by Jochi Blanco at his Tabacalera La Palma Factory in Tamboril, Dominican Republic.
According to brand owner Rafael Nodal, the leaves in the blend have been aging in bales for several years.
The blend will be produced in only one size: a perfecto called Fortissimo that measures 5 3/4 by 47 ring. It will be packaged in ten-count, numbered boxes. Only 3,000 boxes will be produced, with a suggested price of $11.35 per cigar.
This is it for now, friends! We look forward to seeing everyone on October 19 at Cuenca Cigars in Downtown Hollywood.
