Cigar Journal Top 25 Cigar of the Year 2016

Posted by Ana Cuenca on Jan 07, 2017

Top of page!

Another magazine that deserves our attention is the Cigar Journal. This is an European cigar Magazine that follows closely the world of cigars. As with Cigar Aficionados and to my surprise, Non Cuban Cigars got better rating than the fabulous and world wide known prohibit fruit that are the Cuban Cigars. That's sounds very interesting to me. On their latest list released last December 16, 2016, only one Cuban cigar make it to the Top 10 and altogether, only three cigars make it to the top 25. Some may like to say it's just because Cubans don't pay advertising fees, while the rest of the world does. But I believe the reality is totally different, the quality of tobacco, manufacturing and construction in Cuba cigars is in decay while the quality of non Cuban has gone to the roof.

Anyway, this will be a theme in another moment. Holidays are killing me and the stress from the mountains of orders we need to fulfill may not let me be clear on my point. In time, I will revisit the subject and give you my modest opinion in the subject.

For now, let's just get to the "THE COMPLETE LIST OF CIGAR JOURNAL’S TOP 25 OF 2016".
