Who is Casa Fernandez Cigars? An agricultural conglomerate of premium tobaccos in Nicaragua. This company is well known for being some of the largest tobacco growers and suppliers of tobacco leaves. They are a key part of supplying materials to some of the most known Nicaraguan Cigar Brands. They started producing Casa Fernandez cigars in Honduras. Later they moved production to Miami to then, the manufacturing of premium handmade cigars was moved to Nicaragua, where it is still now. They grow, aged, and manufacture their own cigars. Eduardo Fernández controls a vast area of fertile Nicaraguan soil.
Arsenio Ramos was the master blender from Aganorsa Leaf. He was related to tobacco from a very early age, and his knowledge was some of the biggest treasures he gave to our industry. He will always be remembered as a master's in tobacco fermentation and blender. Arsenio Serie Oro from Casa Fernandez was launched at the IPCPR in 2014's trade show. The Serie Oro was to celebrate his 80th Birthday. These handmade cigars use Arsenio's peculiar and distinctive variety in blending. The use of a tasty Corojo wrapper with fillers and binders of some of the best tobaccos from the Agarnosa conglomerate to deliver a full flavor. Why Casa Fernandez become Aganorsa Leaf Cigars? In 1997, Eduardo Fernandez came to Nicaragua. He was then the owner of Agricola Ganadera Nortena. He intended to get into the agricultural side of the production of cigars. It took him about two decades to become one of the biggest tobacco growers in the Nicaraguan tobacco world. His own way of growing tobacco in the old fashion Cuban way gave him the entry key to success. In 2018 Casa Fernandez charged its name to Aganorsa Leaf with the intention to identify the company with the Fernandez Family of cigars.
Aganorsa Corojo is yet the latest creation of Eduardo Antonio Fernandez Pujals, owner of Aganorsa S.A. Eduardo who once was an enigma among the Nicaraguan Tobacco growers has grown to be a dominant factor in the Nicaraguan field. His old-fashioned Cuban style using only the best Cuban seeds and the overseeing the production by a well-seasoned agronomists from the islan. The Corojo they grow is considered to be one of the best yet produced.
